A few notes about solid fuel combustion
In the combustion of solid fuel, many parameters must be controlled at the same time to obtain satisfactory results. The combustion chamber must have a fair volume, the steady state temperature must be correct and constant; the combustion air must be metered and dispensed properly; the depression inside furnace must be kept on project values to get correct speed of combustion products during their run inside the boiler; the fuel must maintain constant humidity and dimensions. The respect of this rules allow high efficiency and the observance of antipollution standards.
Our industrial boilers horizontal steel pipe type, are fed by wood off-cuts, sawdust, etch. For the production of hot water, superheated water and steam they can be fed either manually or automatically by means of a spiral screw feeder under
grate or upon a fixed or mobile grate. All grate parts are made of special cast iron. Boilers have self supporting frame and are single piece for small and medium power and in two parts to be laid upon for big power, to facilitate transport.
Smoke pipes are expended and welded at the end. The smoke boxes have doors on pintles that allow an easy inspection and periodic cleaning of pipes. The combustion chambers, partly or entirely covered with refractory lining of a high alumina content, have so big volumes to realize a perfect combustion, the observance of antipollution standards, a low thermal load and high efficiency.
Special doors allow the periodic cleaning of brazier or manual loading. We are interested in manufacturing of special boilers on particular request of costumers, as well as in supplying complete plants “turn on key”.
